History: On June 23rd, 2003 at WWDC, Apple released a new webcam called 'iSight' especially designed for the use with the new version of iChat AV. iSight was a full motion video camera with 30 fps at 640 x 480 pixels (24-bit), connected  via FireWire, with built-in microphone, auto-focus and a remarkably small case selling for $149.
